Events

Monthly and Semi-Monthly:

All events are seasonal: September-May, since attendance for indoor events tends to dwindle during the warmer months.

Sunday Ukulele Sessions

(3 pm usually the First or Second Sunday of the month (excluding holidays). Location varies, but it’s often the Bozeman Public Library small meeting room.)

This is a chance to get together and play some songs. Sometimes we include a workshop on a particular style or genre, but other times we just jam.
Check the B.U.C. event calendar or Facebook for monthly locations and details.

Yes Uke Can! Ukulele Crash-Course for First Time Beginners

(Schedule and locations vary.)

This is a free starter class for those who have never played ukulele before. Participants will learn to hold a ukulele, strum it and play easy songs.
Check the B.U.C. event calendar or Facebook for locations and details.

Rest Home Singalongs

(3:00 pm on alternating Mondays at Gallatin Rest Home (1221 Durston, Bozeman)

This on an ongoing/adhoc basis. Check the B.U.C. event calendar to see if we’re scheduled for any given Monday. Anyone who wants to play along (or even just sing) is welcome to participate. Very casual! Music is provided. You can also find the event on Facebook for locations and details. More info here.

Annual:

Bozeman Ukulele Cabaret Valentine Open Mic and Play-Along

Since 2012 we’ve hosted a ukulele night with open mic and play-along songs on the theme of love and heartbreak.
Check the B.U.C. event calendar or Facebook for locations and details.

Ukulele Picnic

For the past couple of years, at the end of the summer (Aug or Sept.) we’ve been hosting an outdoor picnic in a local park. It’s a super low key play-along and open mic with food, lemonade and ice cream. Watch the B.U.C. event calendar or Facebook for info.
