Ukulele Picnic photos Sept. 27, 2015

About 30 ukulele players showed up to send off summer at Beall Park Recreation Center on Sunday Sept. 27. People had a chance to eat their dinners while we had a little open mic segment. Then we cut the awesome ukulele cake brought by our friend and fellow uker, Jane. There were also special ukulele cookies from Nana’s (AKA Sue’s) homemade cookie-torium.

Thanks to our open mic entertainers, and also to David, Wren, Mark and Chan for help with set-up. Another big thanks to all who donated to the room rental pot! And thanks, all, for coming out and having a good time!

Here are a few photos. If you’d like a higher resolution file of any of them, let me know!

Bozeman Ukulele Picnic Sunday Sept 27 at Beall Park

uke-picnic-2015

The Bozeman Ukulele Cabaret will host its third annual end of summer ukulele picnic at Beall Park Center at 415 N. Bozeman on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 5:30-9:30pm.

Bring your ukulele, your own picnic dinner and a song to share, if the mood strikes you. We’ll provide ice cream and lemonade and some songs that all can play along on.

From 5:30-6:30, it’s open mic and dinner time. Walk up to the mic with your uke and take a turn serenading us while we dine.

Starting at 6:30 we’ll do some all-play songs that everyone can join in on. We provide chord charts and song sheets, so bring your ukulele and join the fun.
